As further recognition of his running and fundraising achievements, Croyland Car Megastore’s general manager, Mark Swindells has been chosen as an MK Ambassador for next year’s MK Marathon, which takes place on 2 May 2016.
The Milton Keynes marathon is the flagship running event in the area and one of the top 10 marathons in the UK.
The accolade was given to Mark following his submission, outlining his ‘running story’, which will later be documented in a 30 second video. He was selected as one of 30 MK Ambassadors, who will undertake local radio interviews, blog and post video submissions on their training and fundraising progress.
Speaking about the commendation, Mark said: “ I feel extremely honoured to be picked as an MK Ambassador, it demonstrates how far I have come in both my personal and fundraising journey.
“I ran the MK marathon this year and really enjoyed the experience, so I can’t wait to do it again next year, with this additional string to my bow.”
Mark Swindells, and the team at Croyland Car Megastore continue to raise money for local Charity Cransley Hospice and national charity, Children with Cancer UK.
