Christmas came early this year for a local dad of four, when he received a winter windfall from Croyland Car Megastore.
James Francis from Northamptonshire scooped £250 in our weekly Freebie Friday giveaway.
James was selected at random on our Facebook page by liking the week’s posts and brought his son Connor, aged 10 along as his lucky charm.
James said: “I follow Croyland Car Megastore on Facebook as they are a local company and I like their Freebie Friday giveaway. I couldn’t believe it when I won - I was over the moon! Connor always seems to find money and wins things, so he spun the wheel for me and scored the jackpot £250!
“With Christmas coming up it’s a godsend. I’ve got four boys so the £250 will go towards making their Christmas extra-special this year. It’s amazing that a local company runs this every week, gestures like this really put a smile on people’s faces.”
Croyland Car Megastore has been handing out treats to its local community every Friday via its Facebook page. Weekly winners are selected at random by liking posts put up that week. The winner then spins the wheel in the showroom to determine what they have won. Prizes on offer include £250 cash, Auto Glym Lifeshine treatment, £50 fuel voucher, a meal for two and an Amazon voucher.
Mark Swindells, Croyland’s general manager commented: “We are thrilled that James won the jackpot and are delighted that our Freebie Friday giveaway has proved so popular, it’s our way of giving something back to the community. We do hope that our weekly Freebie Friday spreads a bit of Christmas cheer not only now, but throughout the year to follow!
