Croyland Car Megastore had proved it’s in pole position when it comes to fundraising, and is delighted to announce it has raised £2,010 for Cransley Hospice thanks to Barclay’s ‘Drive for Good.’
This substantial windfall was paid to Cransley Hospice at the start of December and will go towards their amazing work providing end of life care in the Northamptonshire area.
Drive for Good is an initiative set up by Barclays Partner Finance which ran during October and November. They agreed to donate £10 to the nominated charity of each dealership that took part for every finance agreement signed by a customer during the period plus an additional £10 bonus to the dealer. The dealer could then decide to add the bonus to their charity donation with Barclays Partner Finance matching the bonus with a further £10. This combined to make a possible total of £30 per agreement going straight to charity. With an incentive like this, Croyland Car Megastore worked hard to gain a substantial donation for Cransley Hospice.
Diana Patrick from Cransley Hospice said: “Thank you so much to everyone at Croyland Car Megastore, this is an absolutely fantastic donation. What a great year of fundraising the company has provided for us. Fundraising is essential for us to continue providing care so we are thrilled with what Croyland Car Megastore has achieved for us. Their generous support for Cransley Hospice goes back over ten years and this year has been amazing. We are grateful for their sustained support for over a decade.”
Mark Swindells, Croyland Car Megastore’s general manager said: “We were really pleased when we heard how much we had raised and I must thank Barclays Partner Finance for the opportunity. It is a very generous offer and we were happy to add it to our fundraising for Cransley Hospice. They do amazing work at the hospice and I’m really proud of how much we have raised for them.”
