• Coolant – With the possibility of having your vehicle engine running longer in traffic, the chance of overheating rises, especially if coolant is low or leaking. Checking your coolant level before travelling is vital
  
  
• Rubber – All tyres including the spare should be checked for any issues, including pressure and tread checks, as well as being free of any damage
  
  
• Electrics – Lights need to be used when appropriate as well as functioning wipers, which help to clear your vehicles windscreen properly (wipers that are not effective are enough to fail an MOT)
  
  
• Screen Wash – Keeping a clear view of the road ahead and behind is essential for driving safely, make sure your screen wash bottle is completely full
