Hi there! Our attentive and hard-working sales team are the reason our customers leave with a smile on their face time after time. So why not learn a little more about them?
Compliance, Sales and Business Manager
Since starting at Croyland 15 years ago I have worked in a number of positions within different departments. These have included everything from operating as a vehicle and parts administrator to managing marketing as well as working my way through the ranks within the sales sector.
My key responsibilities focus on compliance, sales and business management and I especially enjoy the financial side of things and working alongside the dedicated team within that department.
Over the years as well as undertaking a range of roles here during my Croyland career I have also married and become the father to four children, which keeps me busy!
Some of the highlights and one of my claims to fame here at Croyland include having once sold a car to former snooker world champion Peter Ebdon.
There is never a dull moment here and I enjoy the variety the job offers. On a day to day basis you can find me in range of roles with various responsibilities including running the sales department, generating sales leads, dealing with finance deals and proposals as well as handling marketing tasks and of course processing our great deals.
I am fascinated with cars and enjoy talking to people, so for me this is my perfect job - and probably the reason I have stayed here in the same role for the past 12 years as it combines my passions! As I know all the different aspects of the process, I now also train and mentor new staff members. No two days are the same here, I enjoy the fact that it is not a typical 9-5 job and that it's my role and responsibility to find the right car to match a customer's requirements.
I started at Croyland on an apprenticeship scheme three years ago and have had the opportunity to progress from a sales executive to a senior sales executive, as well as successfully gaining my level two NVQ in sales. The role brings a great sense of achievement; I really enjoy the day-to-day challenges I face and love working for a company that invests in its employee culture. Croyland is a great place to work. There are many career opportunities here, across all areas of the business and I believe that progression is there if you want it. I appreciate the opportunities Croyland has given me over the years and am thankful for the skills and qualifications I have gained.
I love cars and love helping people, so for me selling cars is the perfect job. Croyland Car Megastore has a great family feel to it and I relish being part of a vibrant and knowledgeable sales team. I believe an upbeat sales team who really care about their customers is key in this industry.
I joined the sales team at Croyland Car Megastore in 2014 and have achieved my Level 2 NVQ in sales. I’ve always had an interest in cars and working at Croyland enables me to meet lots of people, which I really enjoy. I find it really exciting when I find someone their perfect car that suits their requirements exactly!
Following a previous career as a ‘tech wizard’ fixing computers, servers and various other machines, I started working at Croyland in 2011 and haven’t looked back.
Now I am a qualified salesman with a level 3 NVQ in Sales and Customer Service. Croyland is a really friendly working environment and I enjoy meeting different customers everyday and building up solid customer relations. I believe teamwork is the most important part of working in a successful sales team.
I get a buzz from helping customers find the right car and love meeting new people! I am currently training towards an NVQ Level 2 in customer service, which I am really enjoying as I love learning new skills. Strangely enough, a new accomplishment I’ve gained whilst working at Croyland is being able to drive an automatic vehicle, as I had never driven one before!
Trainee Sales Executive
Joining Croyland is a career change for me as I used to work as a personal trainer and specialised in sports massage at the David Lloyd gym in Milton Keynes. I also worked for several months as a self employed personal trainer before making the move to the Croyland sales team.
I am enjoying working at Croyland and am currently undergoing training to find out about the different departments, how everything works and shadowing colleagues. I have a lot of transferable skills from my previous work in personal training, which gives me a lot of confidence and helps when I am speaking to customers. In this job it’s important to have good people skills.
It is very interesting seeing how the whole process works from start to finish here at Croyland and it’s a great job because I enjoy being with people. I am looking forward to progressing within the team.
