Frequently Asked Questions
If you have any questions our friendly team are on hand to answer any queries you might have. We've answered a few of the common questions here below.
You will be issued with a VT30 Refusal of an MOT Test Certificate. This means your vehicle isn't safe to drive until it has been fixed. You will need to keep hold of the certificate and present it at the retest, if you chose to have your vehicle repaired and retested elsewhere.
It is illegal to drive your vehicle without a valid MOT. If your vehicle has failed its MOT test it could be dangerous to drive and you could face legal action or a fine along with it invalidating your insurance.
You can leave your vehicle with us to be repaired and then retested. You will only need a partial retest once the vehicle is reparied.
We can MOT your vehicle up to one month, minus 1 day and still maintain the anniversary date of the MOT.
Please call our MOT and Service Department who will happily assist.

Wheel balancing ensures that the weight of the wheel is distributed evenly on each axle, which in turn helps to ensure that there’s consistent wearing across the entire width of the tyre. This is what we include when you purchase a tyre(s) from us.
Wheel alignment refers to the adjusting of the angle of the wheels so that they’re set in the proper position for driving.
