Croyland Car Megastore Customers Raise Hundreds for Children in Need

Our generous customers joined forces to raise hundreds of pounds in our recent fundraiser for BBC Children in Need.

Thanks to giving customers who kindly donated their pounds for Pudsey we managed to raise a whopping £428.88.

In a bid to boost the figure even more, we have since matched and doubled the amount raised, bringing the overall total to £857.76.

As part of our fundraising efforts, we hosted a range of fun activities and Croyland’s much-loved mascot Cooper made a special appearance as a friendly face on the forecourt posing for plenty of selfies, which helped encourage extra donations.

Local drivers also enjoyed taking advantage of a free mini winter check on their vehicles, making donations in exchange for a windscreen wash, oil-level check and more.

Our social media followers also had the chance to participate in the hope of winning a spin on our Freebie Friday wheel. Not one, not two, but three lucky online donors won the opportunity to spin the Freebie Friday wheel for a chance to win football match tickets, shopping vouchers and cash prizes.

Croyland Car Megastore General Manager Mark Swindells said: “We’d like to thank all our loyal customers who generously donated during the fantastic Friday fundraiser.

“We are big supporters of Children in Need and it was a pleasure to see both the Croyland team and local community come together to raise a great sum which we were delighted to double.”
