CROYLAND CASH WINDFALL FOR KEY WORKER

Christmas came early for one lucky local key worker who scooped a cash jackpot prize of hundreds of pounds courtesy of Croyland Car Megastore.

Hospital worker Sophie Jeeves was the lucky winner of the £250 top prize when she was invited to spin the wheel as part of Croyland’s competition – Freebie Friday.

The Northants mum was delighted to win the cash prize which she is planning to spend on a forthcoming family holiday. It was a case of second time lucky for Sophie who previously won the £250 jackpot prize over two years ago.

Sophie said: “I know the chance to spin the wheel happens every Friday and I try my luck as often as I can. I work 12 hour shifts as a support worker at Northampton General Hospital and I got invited to Croyland to spin the wheel and won the money the day after my shift.

“I was shocked to win the £250. It was great to win as this will help towards our spending money for the holiday we have planned, a cruise around the Canary Islands and Portugal. It was booked over two years ago however we hadn’t been able to go until now because of the pandemic. Other than breaks in the UK this will be the first time we have been abroad again since the start of the pandemic.”

As a key worker Sophie has worked throughout the pandemic including in her previous role at a local doctor’s surgery before she joined the hospital team earlier this year.
