Croyland Supports Sports Day Superstars at Northants School

Northamptonshire pupils enjoyed a sports day to remember thanks to a generous goodie giveaway from the Croyland team.

Grateful Croyland Competition winners Windmill Primary School, based in Raunds, received a range of prizes to make their sports day extra special. The bumper prize package included everything from bibs, finishing tape, stickers and promotional posters to other tasty treats such as fresh fruit and bottled water, with the brilliant bundle benefitting the whole school.

In partnership with our on-site shop Spar, you may remember we launched an online social media competition calling for local parents to nominate a school to win a summer Spar sports day package.

In the end, winning Windmill Primary was announced as the lucky recipient thanks to numerous nominations from various voters.

To top off the day, sporting students were also treated to a special visit from Cooper the dog, our very own cuddly canine mascot who was on site to cheer the children on and encourage young talent.

Matt Coleman, Principal at Windmill Primary School, said: “All of us here at Windmill Primary are delighted with the support that Croyland Car Megastore have offered us for our sports day.

“It’s great that a local company wants to support our children in such a way; we are very grateful. The visit from Cooper the mascot topped off a great day – thank you!”

Croyland’s General Manager, Mark Swindells, added: “Supporting the local community is important to us at Croyland, and it was our pleasure to provide Windmill Primary School with their Spar Sports Day package. We hope everyone who attended the Sports Day had an amazing day.
