Croyland Car Megastore were proud supporters of the recent End of Season Dinner, staged at Northampton Town Football Club, which highlighted the inspirational work of community champions.
Croyland’s Cobblers support included sponsorship of prestigious awards presented at the annual event.
Croyland were sponsors of the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Community Champion 2021/22 and Northampton Town FC Women’s PFA Community Champion Awards, which were presented to Eden Brown.
Croyland’s General Manager, Mark Swindells, who presented the accolades at the evening event, said: “As a business we continue to provide vital support for numerous clubs, community causes and charities.
“Our significant sponsorship support for sporting organisations includes help for grassroots football clubs to supporting sporting stars at Northampton Town F.C. We were very proud to sponsor these prestigious awards and congratulate Eden Brown on her fantastic and well-deserved win. Eden is an inspirational role model within the sport and an excellent community champion.”
The PFA Community Champion is an award that aims to raise the awareness of the important support that its members provide to the community projects run by the Northampton Town Community Trust during the season.
The accolades highlight the excellent work the club has been involved in on and off the pitch throughout the season.
Award winner Eden was recognised for her support to several club and community projects and programmes including helping to raise the profile of female football within the wider local community, helping to inspire fellow female footballers.
The award success for Eden tops off a successful season for Northampton Town Women who ended their East Midlands Women’s Regional Football League Premier Division campaign unbeaten.
